During his illustrious career, Dr. Musallam has held pivotal leadership roles contributing significantly to the Ministry of Finance. He has served in key capacities, including:

  • Director General of Income
  • Assistant Director General of Financial Planning
  • Director of Studies and Financial Systems

Dr. Musallam Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Integrated Gas Company and a number of councils and committees, and he has previously participated in the membership of a number of national councils and committees. Including:

  • The Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development
  • Petroleum Development Oman (PDO)
  • Oman Aviation Group (OAG)
  • Oman Qatar Insurance Company (OQIC)
  • Al-Hosn Investment Company
  • The Arab Investment Guarantee and Export Credit Corporation
  • Some companies operating in concession areas

In addition, Dr. Musallam holds a master’s degree in financial sciences from the University of Huddersfield in the United Kingdom and chaired many committees and joint teams between government agencies, and participated in many projects related to reviewing the laws, regulations and organizational structures of government agencies.
